What is this album, all I heard was that Dr. Dre was supposed to be producing it, and it was supposed to be based on tracks like "Nieghborhood Sniper".

Yeah, just listen to that Tarrie B interview.... But I think Lazy is correct... But I don't understand Ruthless, they got sooooo much unreleased shit, this album, another like 50 features with BGKO n Dresta, maybe hundreds of Eazy solo.....What, don't they like to get paid..or wtf??

I don't remember anything about Dre producing this. Eazy talked about Temporary Insanity a lot after Dre left Ruthless. I can't give you any sources, but I definately remember at least one interview in the UK magazine Hip-Hop Connection. He planned for it to be a 50-track album(Eazy always did love talking shit, huh?), and to include his work with Axl from Guns & Roses. If you think about it he kinda preluded the whole 'insanity' thing with 5150: Home 4 Tha Sick, so must have been planning to capitalise on it. Anyway, by the time It's On dropped the album title had changed to Str8 Off Tha Streetz..., planned as a two-volume, simultaneous release (Eazy must have been real influenced by Guns & Roses...), and...well, unfortunately, everyone knows the rest of the story  :'(
