It's not necessarily his doing. Maybe the record label didnt want his album to have a bunch of no-name acts that would benefit from promotion but not necessarily benefit the label funding the project. Game obviously doesn't have the pull (or the immense record sales) to have more control over his records.

lol yeah Everyone was talking about West Coast is back, I mean their was a lot of good released back then but it was just a short period. The reason the west never had more acts was because of Game. BWS could of easily been a top west coast label, (not on the level of Death Row or Aftermath but still).  But his dre obsession pretty much destroyed that. I still remember all the times he's talking about "oh it's gonna be on aftermath it's gonna have dre on it" over and over even when the labels themselves said no. lol If I remember he did that with both D/A and LAX and even RED if I Remember correctly.

Yup.  It was cool at first, and 300 Bars N Runnin seemed like overkill already (even though it was pretty good), but the 100 other songs that came out afterward were redundant, especially since 50 wasn't responding.

Also, don't forget that it was Game who started shouting out 50 again, and then he was on camera literally crying about the state of hip-hop.

Yup.  That's why you heard Game calling the group Khaki's and Chuccs.  Then it sort of fizzled away.

Eastwood and Cyssero are still down with Blackwallstreet.  Cys was on Game's last mixtape.

I had high hopes for Ya Boy but this Rockstar/swag style he has now is wack.  Same with Nu Jerzey Devil.  His production is garbage now.

I'm thinking we will see Game start his label once he's off Interscope and signs with YMCMB.

BWS still isn't anything more than a clique, which is why I found it funny that Game dissed G-Malone for "misusing my label". It's too bad nothing ever materialized, cause I always liked Techneic, Eastwood, Cyssero, Young Life, and other dudes that repped it back in the day. Game does have a nice ear for talent, it's too bad he never did shit with any of them. Hell, even  Clyde Carson was down for a while, a dude with somewhat legit mainstream potential, and he barely repped him.

I agree.  BWS is just a clique.  I think at the time, Game did want to make BWS a label but I also think Game got a little jealous of Malone signing that big deal.  All of those dudes that you mentioned with the exception of Tech are still with BWS.  All of them seem to have signed a relatively nice deal off the strength of Game's star power.  Clyde got the deal with Capitol, Life signed some record deal, Eastwood had that deal with Jaded and then No Limit.  Malone had that Sony Blu Division, and then Hoo-Bangin.

Now it seems that Game has started a record label with Stat Quo.  We'll see where that goes.
