1.) Kendrick
2.) Big Boi
3.) KRIT
4.) SPGP
5.) E-40 (Block Brochure)

Outside of hip-hop, Frank Ocean had the album of the year

Mixtapes of the year:  Everything Lil B

Reminds me I didn't check those E-40's properly. Too many albums IMO

Sucka 4 Love could be the 'realest' track of the year for me

"Never been a sucker for love
So if it come down to you and me you know
I don’t give a fuck, hit the next bitch like wassup
cause at the end of the day
you ain’t never been nothing but a nutt"

*Big Sean - Detroit (best release of 2012 IMHO)
*G.O.O.D. Music - Cruel Summer
*Skyzoo - A Dream Deferred
*Kirko Bangz - Procrastination Kills 4

Everything else I listened to was either crap or just shitty, to the point where I can't come up with a fifth release that I thought was remotely good.

Kendrick, Nas, Big Boi, T.I., Killer Mike, Ab-Soul, both the K.R.I.T. mixtape & album deserve mentions. G.O.O.D. Music as well.

Fuck everybody in this thread and fuck y'all opinions. Y'all don't mean shit  and fuck your 2 cents. I don't give a fuck about y'all. You guys don't mean shit in the real world and nobody gives a fuck about your opinions including mines. Bump what you like and that's what matters at the end of the day. I like what I like and to me my top 5 don't match y'all's so fuck you. But keep it west coast and your alright in my book. Fuck you :)
