Why is this shooting not getting more attention?

When I posted on my Facebook about the lack of respect people have for guns, my dad shocked me when he said, "That's why I never bought you a BB gun, but you know how to fire an M-1. Straight up, he never bought me a pallet gun, but I was 14 years old firing M-1's and an SKS Soviet military semi-automatic. As I said, I am NOT anti-gun, I am not even anti-assault rifle. But I am against IDIOTS getting a gun. And it's IDIOTS to usually want assault rifles.
You want a gun, the constitution allows that. But also know that there are people who non-gun owners call "GUN NUTS" and it's these people that give you, and me a bad name.

I was with you up until you said you're sick of white people committing mass shootings...you need to do a better job at rising above racism my friend. By your statement, you're not sick of Blacks, Mexicans, etc killing each other for decades of turf wars?
You also forget the Malvo serial killer that terrorized DC about 10 years ago? 2 black guys went around sniping innocent people. But that's ok because they're black right?

But when I heard about Sandy Hook, and I already knew the profile of the killer before it was even released to the public is a very, very telling statement about the recent history of mass murderers. You keep pointing to DC sniper, you could also point to Virginia Tech as the killer was Asian. But that's only two out of many. Now I will be honest, Asians do have a high number of mass murders as well, and Blacks and Latinos have a couple. But compared to whites, no minority is even close. In 2012, look at who has been doing the shooting.
Adam Lanza; Newtown, CT; 28 dead; White (mentally ill)
Andrew Engeldinger; Minneapolis, MN; 8 dead; White (killed his employer and others after being fired)
Wade Michael Page; Oak Creek, WI; 10 dead; White (thought he was shooting at Muslims, turned out they were Sikhs)
James Holmes; Aurora, CO; 70 dead; White (mentally ill)
Ian Stawicki; Seattle, WA; 7 dead; White (reason unknown, girlfriend said he was acting weird that day)
One L. Goh; Oakland, CA; 10 dead; Asian (Former nursing student who wanted revenge after being teased)
Jeong Soo Paek; Atlanta, GA; 5 dead; Asian (killed sisters, their husbands and then himself in a dispute)

There were over 500 murders in Chicago in 2012. Guess how many of those were by blacks? 65% or 325. Are you sick of that too or no?
The man has you right where he wants you...looking at superficial bullshit that he waves in front of your face which distracts and prevents you from doing a little digging and seeing how the man is truly the one responsible for these tragedies. But people like you and willy laugh that off, so comfortable in your belief system and faith in your masters despite the facts and history to prove otherwise.
