Detectives are skeptical of Chris Gotti's version of events where he claimed to have been shot by someone from 50 feet away. Police sources said they were looking into whether the Murder Inc. president shot himself accidentally. "That shooting was upclose and personal," a high-ranking police official told the Daily News. "If he didn't shoot himself, he had to know who did."
