THE INTERCEPTION WAS MANNING'S FAULT. NOTHING ELSE!

(1/3) > >>

Shallow:
The first pick was a joke. Clear pass interference uncalled.

The fumble was a clear forwrd pass with the ball being lost as the rm was going forward, and even a review denied that.

And the worst defensive effort by a playoff team this season. To think Champ Bailey was being compared to Revis this week. The final second TD was even worse. Why the fuck isn't Jim Leonhard playing at the end.

PLANT:
I was shocked they took at knee with over 30 seconds left and 2 timeouts.  They gave that game to B More.

Russell Bell:
Boo Hoo

Peyton flaking out in the playoffs has happened before.

See, the reason I defend im so hard because I know that no matter how hard I harp about it this sentiment that you made above will be the be all end all of what happened in that game. In 5 years from now (unless Denver wins back to back Superbowls in the next two years) this game will be on the list of another choke by Manning and that's all that matters. The piss poor defensive play is a talking point for a couple days but then it goes away.

It doesn't matter that New England had gotten away with illegal contact on play after play in 03, 04 in the playoffs to the point where the league redefined the rules to make sure it didn't happen again. All that matters is Peyton choked against Brady in the cold.

It didn't matter Harper decided to go up the middle against Pit instead of to the side line against a goal line offense for a TD in 05. All that mattered was Peyton choked again in the playoffs.

Didn't matter that Indy's D couldn't stop SD even when Rivers and Tomlinsin were taken out of the game, all that matters is Peyton choked.

Remember how bad Sanchez is at everything? Well he had a game winning last minute drive against the Colts D in 2010. But if Peyton wasn't a choke in the playoffs it wouldn't have happened.

Didn't matter that Peyton threw a perfect ball on the hands of his receiver yesterday and uncalled pass interference caused a tip drill for an INT. All that matters is Peyton choked again with another pick six in the playoffs.

It doesn't matter that Peyton has a higher passer rating in the post season than Tom Brady. All that matters is the team win/loss records.

The bottom line is that as far as I can see with my own two eyes; teams that win in the playoffs win because the team around the QB plays as well or better than the QB, and I'm hard pressed to find a winning record playoff QB that wins despite a poor effort from the rest of the team.

Show me a game when the run game was working, the o-line was protecting, the WRs were getting open downfield, the defense was creating stops and or turnovers, and Peyton Manning didn't win that game? And show me a game where the run game was shut down, the o-line was giving little time, the WRs weren't geting open downfield, and the defense was letting up big play after big play for TDs, and great QB play made the difference and caused a W. Show me one game in the playoffs by any QB where that happened and I'll admit that a QB can win a playoff game on a team not playing well.

Shallow Jr:
That game was bullshit. It was rigged from the beginning. If Peyton had been on the Ravens they would have won 50-0. No questions asked. Unfortunately, the Broncos quit on Peyton like always and lost it for him. Then the media makes it seem like it's Peyton's fault that the world is against him. Fuck them and Fuck Tom Brady. If Peyton had been on any other team in the post season they would have pulled a shutout, but the NFL doesn't want Peyton to get the credit he deserves so that's how it happens. I hate life.
