Damn, just downloaded this from iTunes.  Never knew about this, shit is fucking awesome!! 8)

"Dolla Dolla Bill" just sounds amazing with the instruments, and "Friends" over the "If I Ruled The World" beat  :o  Incredible

I think "Friends" is actually over Pac's "Troublesome '96" beat. I've seen some clips of that performance. If i'm not wrong, there's a DVD of that concert too.

I think you're right, the first thing that came to my head was If I Ruled the World

You guys are wrong. They are just singing Whodini's song "Friends.

Yes the album is cool otherwise.

Funny that you bring up this topic now as I bought the album myself last week after all that time. Kinda like what I got as there are no other 213 live performances available. Kinda dissapointed that some tracks are playback or verses are too low like Lonely Girl. Friends, Dolla Dolla Bill, Groupie Luv and So Fly are my favourites.

I noticed this too, I think the playback verses were only on the tracks that appeared on "The Hard Way" album mainly because this album was just released at the time and they didnt know enough of the lyrics?  Im not sure?  But there are some classic live performances on there for sure, and they sound awesome together

they "didn't know the lyrics" doesn't sound very professional an explanation?
& we all know Snoop, Warren & the late great Nate Dogg to just that: PROFESSIONALS in this rap game.
ain't many others out there that could outdo these three LIVE. (Cube, Mack & Dub would be on a pairing level but besides them, no one could lmess with them.)
