Check Greg Lemond also the next level which he took doping too, but yeah he's only the tip of the iceberg.check these articles http://sports.yahoo.com/news/switching-gears--tyler-hamilton-s-feelings-about-lance-armstrong-change--194438670.htmlhttp://www.nydailynews.com/sports/more-sports/zone-lance-armstrong-bully-downfall-article-1.1188512I've followed cycling since the mid 90's (against my will often lol), and looking back Armstrong was just an average athlete which decided to take it to the next level at any cost. while I can admire his determination and willingness to do whatever it takes to win, that doesn't make him a great champion, but rather a great athlete (because finishing the Tour de France is always an incredible feat, roided up or not) with no moral issues and honor whatsoever. I liked him although I always thought he wasn't clean (i didn't think many people are) and I even defended him at some point (although I've always preferred Miguel Indurain and Jan Ulrich), , but his strong arm and intimidation tactics put me off, as well as his arrogance (which is a quality in sports I think but to a degree). Thank god the USADA took over the case, because had this investigation been made by say, International or French authorities (a French lab had already authentified Armstrong's doping in 2009 i think), this would have never had any pull.

It's the fact that he ruined all those people with his BS lawsuits and portrayed himself as some kind of deity that was above all imorrals.
