it all depends on demand and social expectations... skinny used to be the standard but in western societies nowadays dudes like booty so much that women don't give a fuck about having a small ass and are encouraged to work on their asses. where i'm from it's like that too, you got whites & asians with surreal booties too... i'm guessing it's a combination of diet and social expectations, especially since rap and porn are popular and promote ridiculously big curves. the number 1 rapper in France came out with a phrase in one of his songs like two years ago "if you ain't got ass you ain't worth shit" lmao and that shit caught on I still hear it all the time to this day.
