driving, not leading...shaq and kobe both were the leaders- kobe was the driver, shaq was the dominant force who got fed in the paint. shaq had seniority, therefore, demanded offense run through him. kobe was already the best all-around player in the league by 01-02. this is all detailed in phil's book, the last season.
