family feuds

in the wake of it all
i was waiting to fall
but i had to wipe my tears
and face it some more
broken home, distant family
a group of people i've forgotten
who can no longer cohabit happily
personal feuds, fuelled by being stubborn
hearts filled hate, wheres all the love gone?
i ran away at the time, the tears brushed away by the wind
apologising to god, praying for a better day from your sins
this was the day i started fending for myself, independence
i sometimes look back in a day dream, those days of remembrance
your so poisoned with hated that its all that ever now seems prevalent
i dreamt i was dreaming
as no one else cared
i watch my family fall apart as an innocent child, broken hearted and scared
but im stronger now from all the burdens id bared
the messenger between the two parties and i dont know why im involved
a family feud where all the love has dissolved
