The point is that there was a time in this society where you were treated like that at 14 to 16 and then went on to the military for a few years and then started your life as a man.

Now, on the other side, if there was a player on the team that could knock out the coach and get away with it then so be it. You have no business treating kids like that if you cannot defeat them in combat, or at least have people around you than can. A lot of young stud privates can beat the general in a fight, mainly due to age, but there are still people above them than can beat them up.

yea...kids used to get beat in school. not sayin rice wasn't over the top, but they made it seem like he was literally abusing kids. his intentions were good, he was just a hard ass. i didnt see him actually harm anyone, it was all a mental thing.
