Kid Rock has actually always been a down to Earth dude, and should get more respect within the hip-hop community.  He's a for real hip-hop head and it's in his blood.  I'm not an expert on his music but from what I understand he had some old albums that were st8 rap albums.   It just so happened that a bunch of rednecks, trailer park, white trash hicks ended up supporting him more than the hip-hop fans ever did, so he took that angle and ran with it.

...and no way I would spend money on a Jay-Z ticket just to pay homage and celebrate his wealth and success for two hours.  And as for Justin Timberlake, considering I'm not a faggot I have little interest in watching his soft porn routine carry out for two hours.
