just finished listening to it, what a load of shiiiiiiiieeeeeeeeeetttt!, the worst reggae album ever. now malice in wonderland feels like a masterpiece. i just hope daz.kurupt&snoop make that dpgc album and i bet they'll even fuck that up as well. im not sticking up for snoop no more this was the last sraw.

Haven't listened to this yet, but after being burned by Ego Trippin, I told myself I'd preview every Snoop album from then on.  Felt like a wasted of $12, and I wasn't going to let that happen again.  Well, the next album was Malice, and after listening to it on YouTube, I was sure glad I decided not to buy it without previewing it first.  I'm done with buying Snoop albums sight unseen.
"Detox" is a myth -- Bigfoot, Loch Ness Monster, Area 51, Iraq having WMD, Detox...you get it now?  It was invented by the Aftermath marketing department to maintain the fans' attention.  Notice how everytime a new Aftermath album is ready to come out, they always mention Detox is next up?  Because they are using the invention of "Detox" as a way to market other albums.  The sooner you realize that Detox is NOT REAL, the sooner you'll feel liberated.  Oh yeah, f.u. Aftermath for fooling us fans.

Not as bad as I thought it would be after a quick listen, he should of rapped some verses on some of the tracks.

It's corny. Snoop doing a cheap impression of reggae. If I want to listen to reggea music I'll listen to real reggae not some washed up rapper

Received my copy of the deluxe edition with four extra tracks today and enjoyed the album all together. Some weak tracks mixed with some really strong tracks, but all in all I liked the positive mood and messages Snoop's delivering with this one. I feel tracks like Rebel Way, Fruit Juice, So Long, The Good Good, Tired Of Running, which most of you seem to dislike. Somehow that's happening to me with a lot of tracks in recent albums. I guess doing an album with tracks everyone's feeling is near impossible. But I like Reincarnated, so I can't complain. :P

But I hope his next LP will be more rapping than singing. I would like to hear a Snoop rap album with that positive spirit and tracks that bring you up like Reincarnated. Even though I enjoy his gangsta rap songs, I sure would like him to evolve in his raps as well. There are a lot rappers out there doing some great story telling or feel good rap songs without promoting violence in their songs. If that's a direction Snoop wants to head to I'm fine with that. I'm sure he will keep doing some hardcore songs from time to time when people say he fell off, but he's been there, done that.

Yeah that's what I'm saying, maybe I'm getting old but I'd enjoy a Snoop Dogg rap album with a positive vibe more than a album full of bitch this bitch that, lbc 213 all day all night lyrics
