Of course they are. It's a trade. If Putin lets go of Syria we temporarily stop sending Al Qaeda into Chechnya and let Russia have some quiet time.

It seems like Russia gave today it's anwer.......that it wont let syria be turned into another Libya.



I was quite surprised, I thought that the Russians would  draw a line in Iran not Syria.
