I2G once again linked up with 4EN6 for an exclusive interview. We discuss his new single, Dream Chasers featuring K. Young, his upcoming album, Shattered Nightmares, west coast hip hop and much more so check it out.

I2G:Illuminati 2G is here with 4EN6, how’s it going man?

4en6: Fucking great man.

I2G: First question right off the bat, how did you come up with the name 4EN6 for yourself as an artist?

4en6: To be honest, it came from my late father and my mom. They were really into the show Forensic Files and I would always go out to the living room and see them watching it. I just put a clever spin on it. It is also my approach to my art, I use my brain to come up with answers and solutions to things.
You just recently dropped your new single entitled Dream Chasers featuring K. Young. Tell me a little bit about the single and how it came together for you.
I was at the studio one day with my producer, Fallen Angel, and he works with K. Young and other artists Kobe, Kurupt, Roscoe and others. We chopped it up for a minute and the rest is history.

I2G: Is there a video set to drop for the single?

4en6: No, I have a lyric video for it but I doubt we will shoot a video for it.

I2G: You have your upcoming album Shattered Nightmares coming soon. Tell me a little bit about the album and how it differs from your last album, The 4EN6 Files.

4en6: It’s more of a concept album. 4EN6 Files was not and Shattered Nightmares has more of a direction and it is going to tell more stories about my life and who I am as a person.

I2G: Do you have a release date set for the album?

4en6: No release as of yet but it is coming within the next month.

I2G:What are your thoughts on west coast hip hop right now?

4en6: I am loving it. I love the creativity, versatility from alot of these artists right now. I like the scene and I suits me alot more, it’s not just gangsta rap anymore.

I2G: Do you have any upcoming shows or tour dates?

4en6: Yeah that will be coming within the next month or so as well.
