i don't know if it's the "main league", but the soccer in south america is pretty raw on and off the pitch.
A video of the incident has not surfaced yet, there's only the video of the referee quartered  LOL

Stuff like that is why I don't bother with soccer.  Especially of 2 incidents in 94.  When Italy faced Brazil, one dude said,' I can't believe they're doing this well against us & his brother in law stabbed him to death  >:(  And of course the tragedy of Andres Escobar.  Bad enuff was that when he f'ed up, his fiance's 9 yr. old son knew Andres was a dead man  :(  And the rest of earth hell still acts dumbfounded why america won't accept soccer  ???

shit's crazy, when i read the newsfeed i thought at first it was an april fools joke. i know soccer games can go bad, but this bad ? it sounds like some stuff you would see watching Apocalypto...
