I was referring to MJ with the Wiz, which is the end of his career.

he let it be known on espn that it was a jest.
the lakernation news organization actually believed it, this is all known.
money stops coming in? you do know he makes double digit millions with his nike contract, one of among many other things.
the chinese (who have the most money right now) pay him ridiculous to come here or to endorse whatever they want him to endorse

Kobe only has those deals because he's still playing...he's an asset. who's gonna wanna rock Kobe sneakers in 2020? MJ is a monopoly on the sneaker game so he's the exception, not the standard.
anyways I doubt Kobe takes a cheap deal after next year, why should he?
