Lol @ saying on paper Melo and Kobe would work. The two biggest ball hogs in basketball "no doubt would work".
The best part is Nash can't play D, Kobe isn't an elite defender anymore, Melo doesn't play D, Pau is a pussy and Kaman is a mediocre defender. That team would get TORCHED by a fully loaded OKC team.

Name the huge free agents not named Shaq that have come to LA. Ron Artest is about it.

Gary Payton and Karl Malone came as free agents. Horace Grant was a signing, a TON of role players that actually contributed.

Ahh, the corpses of Payton, Malone and Nash. Awesome stuff. Horace came over to a trade, I'll forgive you for that since I was in error of Glen Rice. There was a story on the old Lakers BBS that said that Glen was unhappy in LA.
