I've already explained this to you. Kobe touches the ball on 99% of the teams possessions. The shooting guard role, for the most part is strictly to "shoot" the ball. Get the role? The only shooting guard who HAD (doesnt currently) that type of possession control at that position was Wade. Outside of a few playmakers here and there, but who don't touch the ball in the same UNIVERSE as Kobe, everyone else catches and shoots. Also Kobe made it a point to pass more after statistics PROVED Kobe taking over 20 shots a game led to more Laker losses than wins. Finally, he had two of the best 7 footers in the league, who attempt the highest percentage shot in the league within five feet of the rim (before you inevitably, out of anger, bring up LeBron to compare him passing to players who take the lowest percent shot in the game of basketball, despite the fact Bron is completely irrelevant in this point). Kobe is a ballhog at the end of the day whose trying desperately hard to prove he was a passer all these years because the repeating, defending champion now gets absolute praise for his ball-vision and IQ as a passer.

Where am I defending his antics? I'm just defending reality that pound for pound, he's the best center in basketball. Only a jealous ex-girlfriend like you would cry this long about it.
And I already said Melo is a ballhog too. The different between Melo and Kobe is Kobe always had so much more to work with. If I was the Lakers PG, I could average four assists a game dumping the ball into two of the top five 7 footers in the game.
I'm not saying if Kobe tried he can't pass the basketball. Not on the IQ level as Bron, but yeah, I guess if he really said "alright, I'm the PG, he could average nine assists", but his points would take a hit.
But you so ignorant to ignore that outside of the two years he was LeBron in Cleveland status, for the past decade+ he's had HANDS DOWN, the best roster on paper in the entire league. LeBron took Birdman and made him look like a border line allstar, if a guy like Greg Oden signs and can play like 70% of what he was supposed to be coming out of college, his assists will go up. Kobe's always had a big man to feed the ball too and you have to figure he'll get his all-star big men 3-4 assists a game and the other 1-2 just casually during the course of a game.
