LMAO... No, nick young and jj redick were brought in for their scoring, not their shooting. Nick young has better handles, can finish at the rim, create his own shot. Just a better overall scorer,
which is why he's averaged 17+ ppg with the wizards. jj redick is a better facilitator, I'll give him that, but nick young is the much better overall player.  And the reason I say Wes>Dudley is not only cuz his ceiling is much higher, but also cuz they both played for the Suns last year, and while the familiar dudley got the playing time to start the season, Wes Johnson eventually beat him for the startin spot and ended the season a lot stronger than Dudley.

Oneal=kaman is the only thing laughable. Oneal will be lucky to play 40 games this year with the health he's in. Kaman is a qualified starter, jermaine has been a 2nd/3rd string bench player for 5+ years ... Come on brobro.. Ur talkin about a jermaine Oneal who's around averaged 6 points and 5 rebounds in 18 minutes for years now lol whoisthis

The scoring provided by Redick is a secondary issue for the Clippers. They have BG and CP3 who are their primary scorers. Redick (and Dudley) were brought in strictly for spacing since they're knock down shooters. He's replacing Chauncey/Willie Green in the starting Line up. Young's scoring, again, is more secondary for the Lakers. They have Kobe, Pau and Nash. Young is there to hit the open shot. He's essentially replacing Ron Artest's poor decision making with better shooting ability, just absolutely no defense. Remember when he scored those 17PPG, it was on a terrible Wizards team and John Wall & Andray Blatche both scored in the mid-to-high teens as well. Point being, scoring well on a team with no identity who is horrible, is not the situation he'll be in here. For a better example of who the Lakers will be getting, look at what Nick Young did as a Clipper in that second half 11-12 season. About 10 points. 35% from 3. He will not have enough possessions to put up almost 15 shots a night and he's not a efficient enough shooter to score 17+ without them. Hence, Redick > Young.

Dudley fell out of favor with Lindsey Hunter more than Wes Johnson beat him out. Hunter rode more of the younger players in the 2nd half of the season. As for their ceilings... Wes Johnson hasn't shown that he can get off the floor. Dudley has been a consistent player throughout his career. He was brought in for Defense, Shooting and Consistency. He fits those bills. That's why Dudley > Johnson.

You do realize that Kaman is often injured himself, right? And, when you consider the roles each are needed to play, it's much more important for Kaman to stay healthy, which he has a hard time doing. As far as numbers go. JO had 2 rough seasons in Boston due to injuries, which is why he put up the numbers he did. But, last season, he put up 8 and 5 off the bench in under 20 minutes a night while playing in about as many games last season as he had the 2 previous seasons combined. That's comparable to the 10 and 5 Kaman put up as a starter in slightly over 20. Again, I'll give you that overall, Kaman is a better Offensive talent. Defensively, you'll get more out of O'Neal. There's no real winner between those 2.

IMA START CALLIN U MR REACH IF U DONT STOP THIS MADNESS, MAYN....KOBE WAS THE ONLY PLAYER ON THE LAKERS LAST YEAR THAT WAS CONSISTENTLY ABLE TO CREATE HIS OWN SHOT... THAT, ALONG WITH RUNNING WITH THE YOUNG'NS OF TODAYS NBA ON THE PERIMETER IS WHAT NICK YOUNG WAS BROUGHT IN FOR...NOT TO BE A SPOT UP SHOOTER. NICK YOUNG IS CLEARLY A BETTR ALL-AROUND PLAYER THAN JJ REDICK, IT'S NOT EVEN DEBATABLE.

NOW, LETS TAKE A LOOK AT JARED DUDLEY VS WES JOHNSON....DUDLEY DIDNT BECOME A DECENT PLAYER UNTIL HIS 4TH YEAR IN THE LEAGUE. HE WAS A STRAIGHT SCRUB FOR THE FIRST THREE, AND WES JOHNSON PUT UP BETTER NUMBERS IN HIS FIRST 3 SEASONS. ON TOP OF THAT, HE'S YOUNGER, AND JUST A MUCH BETTER PROSPECT OVERALL. DUDLEY HAS HAD MORE YEARS AND WAS ABLE TO DEVELOP HIS GAME MORE, BUT IT WAS CLEAR LAST SEASON TO ANYON WHO ACTUALLY WATCHED SUNS GAMES THAT WES PROVED TO BE THE MAN BY THE END OF THE YEAR.....SO DONT TRY TO LAUGH LEGIT CLAIMS OFF WIT YA NOSE UP IN THE AIR CUZ U THINK U THE ONLY ONE WITH ACCESS TO NBA.COM PLAYER PROFILES.

KAMAN IS ALSO NOT NEARLY AS REMOVED FROM HIS PRIME AS JERMAINE O'NEAL...KAMAN'S ALL-STAR APPEARANCE WAS JUST 3 YEARS AGO. I DONT CARE IF O'NEAL SCORED 8 POINTS PER GAME LAST YEAR, CUZ HE HAD TO TAKE A WEEK OFF EVERY MONTH IN ORDER TO ACHIEVE THAT. KAMAN IS NOT SUFFERING RE-OCCURING SETBACKS, HE'S NOT NEARLY AS OLD OR INJURY PRONE AS O'NEAL. THE ONLY REASON HE MISSED A LIL TIME LAST YEAR WAS DUE TO A CONCUSSION... NOT EXACTLY SOMETHING THAT HAPPENS FROM BEIN INJURY PRONE...KAMAN'S PER 36 NUBERS WERE ALSO BETTER THAN THEY'VE EVER BEEN! CARLISLE WAS SIMPLY NOT USING KAMAN AS MUCH AS HE SHOULD LAST YEAR, WHICH PROVED TO BE A BIG MISTAKE + WAS AN UNPOPULAR DECISION IN DALLAS. SO YEA, TO ACT LIKE THESE 2, AT THIS STAGE OF THEIR CAREER, ARE EQUAL PLAYERS IS PRETTY FAR OFF.

I'm gonna have to call Turbo the way you keep on dancing, mayn. The Lakers were out of wack last year thanks to D'Antoni not having a clue how to put things together and lack of consistent shooting. Now the floor is more stretched like he would like. Young's shooting is what's needed, not so much his play making. So because it's shooting they need, Redick > Young. Overall, Redick is the better shooter and a much smarter player. These guys are role players. Consistency is much more important.

I'm gonna have to call you Ray Charles if you keep talking about numbers like 9/3/2 on 39/35/69 or 6/3/1 on 39/31/70 or 8/2/1 on 40/32/77 is 1 Not Scrub numbers and 2 better than

6/4/1 on 46/22/73
5/3/1 on 47/39/67
8/3/1 on 45/45/78

Per 36, their numbers scoring was about the same, but Dudley was a MUCH better shooter from all around, save for his 1st season when he only put up 41 3's. Convo's over on these 2 based on those comments alone.

I don't care if Kaman's All-Star appearance was 3 years ago. He's nowhere near that same player. The simple fact remains that O'Neal's D makes up for any lack of Offense. And Kaman's offense makes up for any lack on D. Equal.

LOL, UR GREAT....I LOVE HOW U JUST TWIST THINGS TO HOWEVER U WANT THEM. "BECAUSE IT'S SHOOTING THE LAKERS NEED, THEN YOUNG>REDICK" LMFAO....DO U NOT REALIZE HOW FUNNY THAT IS?

AND WHERE U GETTING THOSE NUMBERS? 8-3-1?? JARED DUDLEY WASNT ABLE TO AVERAGE OVER 5 POINTS A GAME IN HIS FIRST THREE SEASONS. WES JOHNSON WAS ABLE TO COME IN AND AVERAGE 9 AS A ROOKIE...GIVEN, ON A LOWER PERCENTAGE, BUT JARED DUDLEY NEVER HAD THE POTENTIAL THAT WES JOHNSON DOES, AND READING STATS DOES NOT TELL U SOMETHING LIKE THAT. WERE TALKIN A 4TH OVERALL PICK WHO IS STILL DEVELOPING HIS GAME AND HIS LAST MONTH PLAYING WAS HIS BEST. COME TO UR SENSES AND STOP THINKING U CAN PROVE PEOPLE WRONG WHEN THEY'RE RIGHT. AS OF NOW, WES IS BETTER THAN DUDLEY, GOING BY THEIR LAST MONTH IN A SUNS UNIFORM....TAKING INTO CONSIDERATION THAT WES IS THE MUCH BETTER PROSPECT WITH MUCH HIGHER CEILING, IT'S QUITE OBVIOUS THAT WES IS THE PLAYER U WANT TO TAKE UR CHANCES ON. BUT GO AHEAD AND KEEP TRYNA DISPROVE MY COMMON SENSE CONCLUSIONS...I JUST FIND IT FUNNY HOW U STORMED IN THIS MUFUCKA WITH YA CHIN UP LIKE I SAID "JORDAN FARMAR>CP3" ROFL

AND HOW IS KAMAN NOWHERE NEAR THE SAME PLAYER WHEN HE TECHNICALLY HAD HIS BEST SEASON LAST YEAR? PER 36 NUMBERS WERE HIS BEST EVER.....SO MISS ME WITH THAT BULLSHIT, CUZ THE ONLY DIFFERENCE IS THAT CARLISLE WASNT USING KAMAN AS PART OF HIS PLAN. DOESNT MEAN HE FELL OFF....AND IF HE DID HAVE A SLIGHT FALL OFF, IT'S STILL NOWHERE NEAR THAT OF JERMAINE O'NEALS, AND U KNOW IT....THIS SEASON IS GUNNA BE FUN(NY). IMA LOVE PULLING UP THESE THREADS WHEN IT'S OBVIOUS THAT THERES HUGE DISCREPANCIES BETWEEN KAMAN AND O'NEAL+NICK YOUNG AND JJ REDICK....THIS SHOULD BE GOOD.

Twisting eh? Again, I give you facts, you dismiss them. That's fine. It's your M.O.

Dudley
2009-10   24   PHO   NBA   SF   82   1   24.3   2.7   6.0   .459   1.5   3.2   .458   1.3   1.7   .754   1.2   2.2   3.4   1.4   1.0   0.2   0.8   2.0   8.2

It's obvious that you struggle with reading.

Dudley's rooking season: 22nd pick. Started 14 games and played 19 minutes.
Johnson's rooking season: 4th pick. Started 63 games and played 26 minutes.

All things are not created equal. Tell the whole story. You can try to tilt this picture you've painted anyway you want, but the proof is in the pudding. One guy is a 22nd pick who has played better all around than the other guy who is a 4th pick. You can use 1 month in a season as your reasoning, but it doesn't tell the whole story.

Kaman is not the same player. Per 36 numbers are estimations if they played that way for 36 minutes. It doesn't compensate for fatigue. Foul trouble. Offensive/Defensive situations. Etc. If that's how you want to compare a guy, that's fine. Nonetheless, Kaman is not the same player he once was, nor is O'Neal. But, again, O'Neal will not be on the floor for Offensive purposes. He'll be there for his Defense. Kaman will not be on the floor for his Defensive, only his Offense. Hence, why comparing them is a wash.

I stormed this "mufucka" asking a question and you stormed back in to this "mufucka" acting like I asked you "How can you say Kobe > Adam Morrison."

Have fun pulling up internet topics months later.

cp3 is a good player and a great leader at times but sometimes his "baby kobe alpha male" thing he tries to do could be the very thing that unravels that team...you always know hes gonna play his part but i dont think hes as good as he thinks he is at motivating his team.
