Exactly, they just divert attention away from Kobe. Allowing him to get better looks.

Fair enough, but even when Kobe was playing with scrubs he averaged better FG% than that. And his playoff FG% was never that low (minus his rookie year coming off the bench). Kobe's FG% is the weakest part of his game and he still did better than Harden.
