Time Served: My Days and Nights On Death Row Records (Discussion Thread)

How many of y'all have read this book by Simone Green? She used to be a photographer for Dr. Dre and Death Row Records back in the days and she was on "Welcome To Death Row". I been readin' this book for a while now and it's interesting. According to the book Snoop didn't write "Gin & Juice", it was written by D-Ruff, the son of David Ruffin, who was one of the lead singers of The Temptations. David Ruffin Jr. a.k.a. D-Ruff is the same dude who used to live with Dr. Dre and got beat up by Tha Dogg Pound because of that. He said he wrote songs for Dre and others and didn't get paid or wasn't credited for them. He's a good friend of Simone Green, so there's some stuff about him on the book too and all kinds of other shit. I'll continue to readin' the book. If you already have read the book, drop your thoughts about it.

according to what suge told her it was because her husband tony green had a female group and racked up 50k in studio fees charged to death row and he bounced so suge figured he'd stop hidin' and man up if his wife got beat up.
