Obama is a bitch, I wanna make that clear first and foremost. I ain't a supporter of his by a long shot. But the Affordable Health Care Act is ultimately a good thing. People never think about gettin sick until they get sick. And by the time they get sick, they can't get insured and then they die because they can't afford care. This shit isn't perfect, but it'll do some people good.

I know f all about obama care, but I would just like to point out to the gaping hole between the money and resourcing poured into health care vs providing people with non posionous, good quality food, the difference between the multi billion culture of oh here here is another antibiotic vs the demonisation of alternative medicines. My point really is that as soon as you allow private corporations a foothold, then you are beholden to them and these people (in the loose sense of the word have no intention of curing anyone). With that said, I do recognise that there are a lot of people with all sorts of crippling diseases and illnesses which have resulted from the poisons garbage which they have been subjected to, so my questions is.....

Is the net effect of this good or bad for the average person? In your opinion of course

Valid points. For sure, if you can afford private insurance, you should go with that shit. Hopefully, private insurance and health costs in general will go down too since they have to compete with the government.

Fraxxx:
For the few details I got on this, I think the biggest problem is that those without jobs still won't have insurance. So basically those who can pay hospital bills the least.
