yea, because the laker franchise started in detroit, moved to minneapolis, and finally found a home in LA. gotta embrace our past...why wouldnt i? i wouldnt even mention that if i were u, considerin u root for a team that doesnt even play in ur city.


and the reason the nba recognizes baa titles and not nbl titles is because the baa officially became the nba when the baa and nbl merged....thats all technical shit, tho, because they actually absorbed more nbl founded teams than baa founded teams.


if were arguing franchises, lakers have 17 titles as a franchise...and once again, have won titles/been relevant in every era and been champions of 3 seperate leagues. the hat-trick. cant fuck wit it.
