When did you hear this?  Last I heard that the dodgers have no interest in cano.  I read on other sites where yankee fans don't want the team to sign cano at what he's asking.  They'd be cool with him at 5-6 years for $150 at most.  See Albert Pujols angels tenure for why 10 years is a bad idea.

I was saying that with my tongue in my cheek.
And no team will sign Cano for what he's asking. I see him getting a 5-7 year deal that'll pay him about (or at least) 20 milli a year along a few incentives. And I just saw a report that said the Yankees are willing to spend (which for the most part I'm against) so for all I know Cano could be back with the Yankees next year.
I mean, I doubt that even Cano himself believes that he'll get a 10 year 300 milli contract, but seeing as how he is the biggest name and best available talent on the free agent market he can ask for whatever the hell he wants. You've gotta start somewhere.
