Just found this video on Youtube of Quik and Kurupt performing in Australia:

It starts off with Kurupt performing New York, New York and he absolutely destroys it. This is Kurupt recovering the spirit of the Death Row Days. Never seen him more enthusiastic about his work. The next song performed is XXplosive, which is also dope, the crowd knows every word.

I'm looking forward to the next Quik/Kurupt album.

I think that when they rehearsed the show, Kurupt only planned to do the first verse from NYNY and that's why the beat stopped. But he was just feeling the song so much that he had to rap the second verse acapella (with Quik improvising the beat). That's the impression I get at least. Real dope to see Kurupt in this form.
