When does Tray Dee get out? and whats the latest news on D?
« on: December 06, 2013, 02:58:27 AM »
I was bumpin Daz and Tray Dee "Mufuckaz Ain't Knowin" and thinkin damn Tray Dee is one of the most under-rated of all time.  I really wish he'd put his all into a solo project, and reallyy put his heart into it and speak on his time locked down and history in the game.

What's the latest on Tray D and when does he get out?

the mixtape will be nice... but it would be even better if he didn't rush 3 projects at once, and just put his all into a classic solo album.

rush isn't the right word, he's been recording tracks for the the mixtape/album during the last month
and they are just planning to do a new eastsidaz album, no word on when it will drop yet

LeNoir Publications Presents Big Tray Deee Tracey Davis & Anthony Barrow "Streetz Gon'Cry"
"West South Central itself is the size of most average cities. Overall, it is inhabited by doctors, lawyers, entrepreneurs, laborers & students. Interwoven within that fabric of citizens are die-hard gang-bangers, murderers & drug-dealers. Of this latter component, you have the King Crips & the Vernon Boys. Both sets have their vision locked on controlling the coke trade in the Crenshaw District. Notorious ride-or-die & hustler, Carter, from Vernon Boys is fresh out the pen. During his absence, surreptitious acts of betrayal have placed his hood on the brink of implosion. With his mentor Wolf directing traffic from behind the walls of federal prison, Carter only needs to clean up his own backyard & then put the remainder of his pieces in their proper position in order to assume authority of the West Side's illicit cash flow..."

Ave Money Publishing Presents Anthony Barrows, J-Dee Cooper & Big Tray Deee Tracey Davis "Los Angeles Tymez"
“Los Angeles Tymes: Urban Tales” is the second effort from Tray Deee & Anthony Barrows. Their first book, “Streetz Gon’ Cry,” from LeNoir Publications, was a fictional account of the King Crips & the Vernon Boys, who have an on-and-off rivalry. Writing from behind the walls of a state penitentiary, the street soldiers, alongside J-Dee, spin three tall tales of urban grit in “Los Angeles Tymez: Urban Tales” mixing sex, drugs & game like a Molotov cocktail, primed to set the reader’s imagination on fire.
Explains Tray Deee, “We are all the products of & respected factors in the inner city community, not just spectators aiming to exploit & profit from someone else’s hardships. We are not only in a position to deliver accurate depictions of street life, but we can also deter others from taking the destructive paths we have taken, as well as offer a home & access with our publishing company to potential writers who share our vision.”
In addition to forming & co-owning Ave Money Publishing, Tray Deee is not letting the music go. Soon to drop this year is “Long Beach State of Mind.” He is also due to be released from prison early next year.
