Rakim pays respects to the late great leader Nelson Mandela in his latest track, "Madiba."

In conjunction with the release of the film, Mandela: Long Walk to Freedom, Rakim honors and pays respect to the late Nelson Mandela in "Madiba."

According to Complex, who created a sweepstakes around the project and offered their audience a chance to contribute to the lyrics, "Rakim took those lyrics, blended them with his own feelings on Mandela and his reaction to Long Walk to Freedom, and came up with an absolutely one-of-a-kind musical experience."

Mandela: Long Walk to Freedom opens nationwide on Christmas Day, December 25th.
