North California would thrive on Hetch-Hetchy alone. Let all them other areas pay exorbitant rates to pipe in water from "out of state".
Jefferson and Central CA would be fucked and we might as well annex South back to Mexico.
Only West, North and Silicon Valley would remain economically viable and would probably do very well now that their tax dollars aren't being used to subsidize packs of Mexicans on welfare in places like Fresno or Bakersfield or the entire 909.
