At this point Kwame looks better, at least he showed occasional flashes. This dude just looks awful. The Cavs had the opportunity to put the best player in the draft by their already budding superstar and it looks like they not only blew it but completely shit the bed.

On a side note, crazy to think that the Cavs have had 3 number 1 picks in the last decade. Who else can say that?

Kwame received a lot of hype coming out of high school (along with Tyson Chandler). Anthony Bennett getting picked at #1 was just confusing for most. Nobody guessed he'd be this horrible, but a LOT of people said wtf when he got picked. And yeah, Kwame shits on Bennett. Kwame stayed in the league for a very long time... bust or not, teams still wanted him because he was a defensive force. I do not believe Bennett is going that route.

Now in Cavs' defense, this was a weak draft anyways and it would've been hard to predict who would become the Rookie of the Year prior to the season (now it's easily Michael Carter-Williams). I suppose the safest bet at the time was Oladipo, but they already had an undersized SG who they were putting all their stock in with Dion Waiters. Which actually makes the rumors of them wanting to trade Dion Waiters even funnier.
