why do you guys keep saying the top 5? I think there's at least 7-8 potential franchise players. While parker, embiid and wiggins are the consensus top 3, who do you guys think will go 4th and 5th? or just post who you think will go top ten.

I don't think there's ever really more than 4 or so Franchise players in a draft.

96: AI, Allen, Kobe & Nash

84: Hakeem, Jordan, Barkley & Stockton

03: LeBron, Carmelo & Wade

Your best shot at that Franchise player is in the top 5 usually.

I think Randle is a definite top 5 pick. I'd say Marcus Smart probably rounds out the top 5

Sccit is bi-polar. Pre-Kobe's injury... M Dogg said the Lakers need to trade for more draft picks in this draft, Sccit said fuck draft picks. Post-Kobe injury, Sccit admits this is the deepest draft in a while.

I've never seen Exum play, so I won't just assume he's a franchise player.

Smart, Randle & Gordon could be franchise players, but I'd say their potentials don't see Parker, Embiid & Wiggins from the eye test. Could prove me wrong though.

I also really have high hopes for lavine. He's like klay thompson but with freakish athletic ability. Even though I haven't seen too much of exum either, I'd take him before smart.

Rodney Hood will be one of those picks by a San Antonio that everybody will say "what a find."

Yeah, he'll be the left handed Kawhi Leonard lol.

u just explained it yourself...POST-KOBE INJURY...thats when everything changes lol

so yea, now that it's a lost season with kobe, nash, blake, farmar, etc. being gone for the majority of the season, it's easy to say "yea, we shoulda gotten draft picks" in retrospect...think before u speak

Oh, I was about draft picks pre-Kobe injury. My hope was someone else does the losing for us, so get those picks now. But looks like the Lakers are going to have to do it the hard way. Remember, the picks for Magic Johnson, James Worthy and Kobe Bryant came off trades.

The Harrison twins are staying at Kentucky. That's wild. UK probably the favorite over Duke now.
