Rondo is returning from injury you fool, you know this.  He'll be fine.  Marshall meanwhile is just another nobody who has a few moments.

The Knicks on paper at full strength actually have an intimidating lineup.

Felton
Shump
Melo
Bargnani
Chandler

JR & Stat off the bench.

I hope they catch the 8 seed & beat the Pacers first round. 8)

dont act like it's far-fetched....he averages 12 assists as a starter for the Lakers. not one all-star on this team. is it really inconceivable to believe he'd get 2-3 more assists if he played with some legit talent?

It is extremely far-fetched.

Here are the Paces for the Celtics during the Big 3 Era: 90.9, 90.4, 91.6, 90.4, 90.4, 91.7

Here is the Pace for the Lakers this year: 97.1

To explain how high that Pace is, the highest Pace of the Suns under D'Antoni: 96.7

How does Marshall increase his assist totals when he slows down the pace significantly? When he no longer has as many possessions to attain that number?

the difference between the cast is enough to make up the difference in possessions....theres at least 4-5 instances per game where marshall gives an amazing pass right on the money that should be any assist that ends up being fumbled out of bounds or a missed layup...shit like that wouldn't happen on those boston squads....basically, what im saying is that kendall marshall is elite when it comes to passing the ball, and maybe he wouldn't average 15 assists per game, but I wouldn't be surprised if he came close.

No doubt passing to Ray Allen and Paul Pierce instead of Nick Young and Wes Johnson would make it easier to get the assists up, that's a given. But, my point is, he's averaging just over 11 now in a fast paced offense. Slow it down his numbers drop, significantly. Throw in some better talent, he see's a bump, but nowhere near 15. His max would probably be where Rondo was, 11 or so.
