DJ Quik Homies: Nookie, Slug, Pot, Shabby Blue, Pimpin Carl?

Can anybody shed any light on these dudes who Quik shouts out on many of his songs? He often mentions Nookie, Slug, and Pot together, and he also tends to group Shabby Blue and Pimpin Carl together.
