He's doing the Hammers a big favour leaving out Defoe and Joe Cole, if either of them got an injury now West Ham would be up shit creek without a paddle or a boat.

No Beattie is a suprise but then he was dire against the Aussies, Heskey dont score enough to justify an England place, i'm sure he's a nice bloke, but he's a wanker of a player.

I hope Robinson plays in goal, i dont trust James or Wright.

Jenas, Terry, Franny and Roonaldo are all worthy inclusions imo.

The only English keepers that aren't prone to little accidents are Kirkland (Injured) and Robinson. Even Wright makes the odd couple. James and Seaman are the biggest goalkeeping fuck ups to wear an England No. 1 shirt.

Before the Brazil game, he was reckoned as second only to Shilton and Banks in the all time England GK listings. He's 38. He's no disgrace.
