Because smart people are starting to catch on to how only stupid shit gets popular/viral on the Internet, we've started getting manufactured crap (crap that was purposely made to be pure shit) like this.

I'm assuming that everyone on here is smart enough to know that this is meant to be a joke. As this is the 2014 version of Valley Girl, only there's only one joke and the punchline to the joke is lame. Making this more along the lines of the musical equivalent of Epic Movie.
I'm not so surprised to see so many idiots actually taking this song seriously. Judging from the reviews on iTunes alone I can say that there's a fair number of people out there who don't realize that this was purposely made to be obnoxious, annoying and terrible. For all the talk I hear from wannabe 90's kids and older generations about how music today "isn't real music" I find it odd and funny to see those same exact people not being able to tell the difference between a real song and a parody song. And these very same sheep pass these shitty songs around saying this and that about how it's shit and laughable, giving the songs/videos more views and ad revenue and basically handing the the shitty singers/producers/writers a ton of money.

Some people need to grow a fucking brain. Or at the very least a sense of humor as I'm guessing these people taking the song seriously are the same people who thought The Fox and Jizz In My Pants were also real songs.
