You can't compare the life of a traveler to the life of the man on the couch.  The life of the man on the couch makes decisions on what he could've or should've done... but a FICCA whose traveled and knows that life knows that you are only traveling at the mercy of Allah, and if Allah does not bless your journey then nothing can save you no matter how hard you try.  For the traveler there is much MORE THAT MEETS THE EYE than the SETTLER may realize.  The SETTLER sees things in a settled state and fails to realize what came before or what went into it, or what is beneath the surface, the many circumstances that are constantly under the guidance and care of Allah as the traveler sets forth, right foot first on the Earth, trying to find harmony with the Earth's motions (emotions).

So it is not fair for me to say as I sit quietly in the comfort of my own space here in my own city what I should of done as a traveler.  My stars just weren't aligned.

Who is better to diagnose me than me?  How can anybody outside of myself know more about me than I can know about myself?  To give up that authority to someone outside of you is to be rendered useless in this life.

So I would never even put myself in a position to be diagnosed by anybody other than a Sufi master and scientist who knows the ways of Allah and has insight into the unseen nature of the angels and jinn.

 Some actual good replies but some of it still makes it sound like you are confused or slightly insane. I can kind of understand, i love hip hop and i love anything Japanese and hang around Asians so in some ways i have an identity crisis also(but not really i am just open minded and have a wide range of interests and hobbies) but iam proud of being white and at times iam racist(not an actual racist) and i am not religious so we are fairly different.
 I think only in America do white people talk so much like black people?
 You sound a bit crazy thinking that you were born a Muslim. Thats bullshit unless your parents were and you were raised(cough brainwashed cough) from day one.
 I dunno, i love hip hop, used to rap but i think you grow out of it in certain aspects like talking and acting in certain ways(but i worked with a guy in his thirties like me and he has tatts all over him, even on his face he talks and acts like a teenager, dude has kids but poses for pics with tupac posters all around him tryna look tough n shit lol) but then again i aint growing out of anime or video games that much so to each their own.
 My biggest problem with Islam is that it prevents people from assimilating into a foreign society. They are unable to adapt or relate to those around them who are not one of them. It cause separation and potential conflict.
 Mistrust, double standards, elitism(in some cases) etc.

 Eh, what ever floats your boat. i mean look at what i like ^^;;
