I've always thought Tulo was mad overrated. He's on fire for like a month or two but then he's out with an injury for the rest of the year. Fuck him.
Personally if the Yankees are going to go after a Rockie I feel they'd be better off with CarGo. Better swing and better chances of staying healthy (although that probably isn't saying much since Tulo gets a 2.5/10 when it comes to actually staying on the field).

lmao word. To be frank, I think both are pretty overrated considering what field they play in, but Tulo more so because offensive outfielders are a dime a dozen (unless you're Mike God Trout) while offensive infielders are scarce these days.
But Tulo really is hitting the daylights out of the ball. Again, I would gladly take him on the team. Shit, it ain't like it's our money lol.
Would Yanks have anything to offer for CarGo if they assume most the contract? You think Gary Sanchez would be enough?

No. If the Yankees want CarGo they'll have to take on that contract and give up Gary Sanchez, Luis Severino, Eric Jagielo, Aaron Judge, Robert Refsnyder, Tyler Austin, Ian Clarkin, Manny Banuelos, Peter O'Brien, Greg Bird, Slade Heathcott, Mason Williams (all top 20 prospects in the Yankees org) plus J.R. Murphy and Dellin Betances.
And no idiotic Yankee fans, trading all these guys for CarGo (or Tulo) is not worth it.

lmao. Btw, how do Yank fans feel about Phil Hughes and Joba Chamberlain? Both are doing pretty well, especially Hughes (bad ERA aside). Is it the same as they view Cano or did Yanks not really pursue the two of them during free agency to begin with?

Unlike Cano, every Yankees fan wanted Hughes and Chamberlain out (and preferably headed to a AL East rival). So I guess they're a lot closer to the treatment Granderson got. "You're leaving? K, Bye. Thanks for the memories."
Every Yankees fan knew that Hughes was going to thrive (or at least be better) once he was out of the AL East. Most expected him to go an NL team like the Padres but the Twins were still an understandable landing spot. Going to a small market team that won't have an impatient/obnoxious fan base or media crews breathing down your neck and analyzing you under a microscope 24/7 has done wonders for pitchers in the past that couldn't cut it in NY (see Burnett).
And like Hughes, most expected Joba to go to an NL team and most predicted he'd be a wildcard for a bullpen willing to take a flier on the guy. He could've gone on to be a good reliever, he could've gone on to be a bad reliever. Either way Yankee fans stopped giving a shit about him after they gave a sigh of relief when it was announced that he wouldn't be returning.
So no, these two are not looked at by Yankees fans like Cano. The Yankees and their fans wanted to see these two gone when it was still July 2013.
Cano meanwhile was a guy everybody kind of expected to stay (especially after the Dodgers backed off) so he could have the so-called prestigious honor of being a lifetime Yankee. He was also a guy Yankees fans really wanted to stay put, hence why fans like Cham and Hack are still butthurt and bitter about him taking the money and going to Seattle.
