Royals are on fire.  Took 2 of 3 in Oakland and just beat the Diamondbacks 11-1.   Pitching staff one of the best in baseball.  Shields is back to being James Shields (which I predicted at the forum he would soon get it back together again), Danny Duffy is a top 5 pitcher in the whole league this year, Yardano Ventura is still in the running for rookie of the year (as I also predicted at this forum, I have some threads I need to bump), Jason Vargas is back off the DL, and even Jeremy Guthrie pitched well giving up no runs in Oakland.... The bullpen is probably the best in baseball with Holland leading the league in saves and Wade Davis being the best 8th inning guy in baseball, he hasn't given up an extra base hit all year!!!!! I repeat, HE HAS NOT GIVEN UP AN EXTRA BASE HIT ALL YEAR!!

The hitting is still struggling a bit.  Butler is gaining a little steam now that Hosmer is out and he gets to play first base..... Escobar, our shortstop actually has the highest batting average on the team.... Perez is consistent...... Moose still sucks.... Cain is hitting well........ there's certainly room to improve hitting

Half game out of the wild card with 2 more games in Arizona, things lookin up for the Royals again

Royals just finished sweep of Diamondbacks tonight.. taking over a wild card spot.. if the season ended today they'd be in the playoffs for the first time since 85'  8)
