Before DubCNN broke Kendrick we first broke TDE’s first star – Jay Rock.
Having signed with Warner Bros the Watts native dropped his smash single “All My Life” in February 2008 with will.i.am.
In the last couple of years Jay Rock has been supporting and working with the TDE family to springboard the careers of Kendrick Lamar, ScHoolBoy Q and Ab-Soul; but now it’s Jay Rock time!
Last week he dropped off his first new track in some time “Parental Advisory” and today he’s back with a full new single – featuring a verse from labelmate Kendrick and guest vocalist Chantal on the chorus.
“Pay For It” is a poignant new record that is set to appear on Jay Rock’s upcoming – untitled and unscheduled – sophomore album.
Download at iTunes and stream both “Pay For It” and “Parental Advisory” below.
