WEEK 2 NFL POWER RANKINGS
Remedy360:
Harvin's injury history is a bit exaggerated, his first three seasons he played in 15, 14, and 16 games. Been downhill since there though playing only 8 that last season in Minn. and obviously was injured most of the season last year. I feel like he's gonna hold up but yeah he has to prove it.

i can't wait for the Denver-Seattle rematch....denver got a little less talneted on offense but a lot better on defense. Seattle overall stays the same...losing Tate but getting Harvin back.

I always liked Tate so this isn't a knock on him, but Harvin is on another level. Obviously he has to prove that he can stay healthy, but as far as talent there's a huge gap. Harvin can line up in the backfield and causes coordinators teams to follow him around all the time when he's in motion making it much easier for Wilson, Lynch, etc. The core players on the team are also very young as far as guys like Russell Wilson so one more year in the league makes a difference. Same goes for the guys on the O-Line. If there's a concern it's on the D-Line after losing leaders like Chris Clemmons and Red Bryant, but the talent is definitely still there. Only time will tell as far as how the season plays out but on paper this team is more talented than they were last year.

Outside of Welker not being there I'd say Denver offense against Seattle this year is significantly better than it was in the Superbowl. Clady is back and Franklin is playing power rather than protect. The right side o-line pass protecting also got a lot better. Except for not having a probowl centre, the o-line is among the best in the league, and right now the best Manning has ever had. Decker left but Sanders is much better, and Moreno left and while I don't think much of Ball, I still say that once Anderson gets a enough touches he will take the helm as best ball carrying RB on that team.
On Defense it'll be interesting to see if Ward can first catch Harvin coming out of the backfield, and second hit him hard when he does catch him. Roby showed a lot in week 1 and Talib also played great. But I need to see a lot more out of Von Miller by week 3.
But the game is in Seattle. I'm not expecting Denver to win but I can't see it being a blowout win for Seattle either.

I agree that Denver did upgrade their team. I was just making the point that (among other things) a healthy Percy Harvin makes this a completely different Seahawks team.

I agree that Denver did upgrade their team. I was just making the point that (among other things) a healthy Percy Harvin makes this a completely different Seahawks team.

My response was aimed at Hack. I clicked on the wrong post to respond to.
As for what you said, I don't disagree with anything. Based on what I saw in week 1, Seattle is still a much better team, and I still wish Peyton had went with Carroll 3 years ago. We both would have been cheering for the same team to 3peat this year.
I'm not a Broncos fan. I'm a Peyton fan. As a team and coach, Seattle and Carroll are among my favourites. But Peyton's got a small window to win here and I want to see him do it. I'll be rooting for you guys once Peyton retires. We could chat for days about how you were robbed in the SB against Pit.
But you guys need to look out for Arizona, specifically is you lose or come close to losing to SD next week.
