“He was a great teacher and educator just by watching him. Obviously you could see that he was good, and success followed him. That was the first time I met him and he was a classy guy right then.”  MJ   (talking about Jeter)

Jordan returned to the NBA shortly after the AFL season ended and won three more championships with the Chicago Bulls, while Jordan wound up debuting in the bigs for the 1995 Yankees and began his 19-year run as their shortstop in 1996, the season in which he won the first of his five World Series.

i think the hero worship of Michael Jordan is a bit too much :D

Darn straight on that!  You got brainwashed idiots who think Jordan is the greatest athlete ever which is bullshit.  They should just say, MOST EXCITING athlete.  And ESPN wonders why people call them BSPN.  And why in the world did Yankees fans cheer Jordan while he appeared on Derek Jeter day?  Understandable if all Yankees fans are Nets fans, cause on WGN in the 90's when the Bulls played at jersey, the bulls would get cheered.  Haven't they 4got that Jordan destroyed their Bricks constantly, even kept them from more finals.  What next, Met fans cheer Lawrence Wayne, aka Chipper if he appeared at Citi Field.

Bad enuff that BSPN said that the illinois Mount Rushmore was best because Jordan was in it ::)  Pennsylvania's mount rushmore was better even without the steeler greats.  And of course California's mount rushmore is untouchable.  Heck, California can do a lot of mount rushmores & it can be hard 2 beat.
