Good for them. However, as a bitter sports fan part of me hopes they collapse in the World Series just for the sake of heartbreak.

If any team that deserves a heartbreak its the frisco fruitbooties & catty bitch cardinals.  Low down holier than thou hypocrite franchises.  Until 2013 it would be a no-brainer on choosing st. louis.  But now they love solving problems by beanballing others  >:( 

I wonder if their cheapskate owner David Glass sold the team with nobody knowing?  Main thing that sucks about the royals getting this lucky is that they might still have this cheapskate as an owner.  For their sake, they don't end up like the 2007 rockies.  They had help getting into the playoffs & went undefeated in the 2 rounds then ran outta gas in the world series getting swept.
