Looking to get some CD decks - any advice?

I want to start having some fun with all the albums I've got and am in the market to get some CD decks, but I'm a bit unsure of what to look out for.
I've heard Pioneer CDJs are a good starting point for a beginner, and I want to be able to cut, scratch, fade etc (basically everything you can potentially do on vinyl decks). Also, the possibility to put MP3s onto the memory of the decks would be a plus point, but not essential.
Does anyone here have any experience with CD decks? Any general advice?

not sure about MP3 functionality on newer models, but pioneer CDJs are pretty much the standard. definitely the brand to go for if you can afford them.
