It wasn't a money issue, the other guys they brought in outside of Cano just didn't work.

Kulber was more of a contender than I originally thought, but judging "wins" is such a joke as far as evaluating pitchers. Anyone who watches the Mariners knows he could have easily won 20-25 games with a DECENT offense. The guy broke the all time record for consecutive quality starts for god's sake.

I know wins are bullshit. Quality Starts are far more valuable. I won't even play in fantasy baseball unless the stats have QS over wins lol.

But there's no denying that those who vote factor it in for whatever reason.
