Can we all agree that this man is one of the greatest producers of all time, both in rap and in rock?

He's in the top ten producers ever in hip-hop.  I don't know much about the rock side.

He also produced for Ice T, Geto Boys, Lil Jon, Wu Tang, LL Cool J, Run DMC, and that's all I can think of.

he´s definently better at producing rock albums and how many producers has a catalogue that includes Slipknot,Johny Cash,Jay-Z,LL Cool J,Slayer,Get Boys,Ice-T,Wu-Tang etc? it´s a shame that some of my dumb fuck friends asked me who that white guy with the beard in Jay´s video was. they all know about Def Jam but very few of them knows that Rick actually started Def Jam and that he played a way bigger part in the starting of Def Jam then Russell did.
