"The funny thing about this is... I remember back in the day (1990) my brother and I flew to Cali to try and get a meeting with Eazy E
.. that's right! we went to Compton! We never got that meeting with Eazy but we did go over DJ train house (RIP) who at the time was MC Ren DJ and JJ fades DJ and we met his brother big Toothie and was chilling at they mommas house in Compton on the south side... Ok the reason I'm telling this story is because you will see my point in a sec hold on.. now at the time we was from Detroit we didn't know shit about gang bangers and none of that shit we was just some young teenagers I was like 16 my bro was 18 we was just tryna get on... or what we thought at the time was on... anyway we jumped out the cab in Compton with our black and red reel life coats on and we had like 2 boxes of booming cassettes cause we was always on that promo tip .. so we link up with train and his brothers and immediately they like yall gotta take off that red shit aint nothing but blue over here.. to make a long story short we hung out with those bros got to know train, toothie & they showed us love took us all around threw Cali and we got as far as almost talking to Ren but he was busy we had to go back to Detroit and we didn't want to carry all those boomin cassettes through the airport so we left them in Compton with DJ train and his brother who said they would give them out...and they did true story... also another fun fact DJ train and his Brother was the ones who told me to start using break beats to livin up my beats so it was almost like a schooling to production because they showed me a few things to help me in the future which is today genuine love.. RIP DJ train he died in a house fire at his momma house the same one we visited I thank him and his brother for their hospitality it was my first time to Cali but not my last... this is a true story..."
"I left like 500 Boomin Cassettes in Compton.."
