After that trailer Cube posted I was a bit skeptical but after seeing this I'm excited as HELL! Looks awesome & can't wait to see it!

yea...after watching the jerry heller interview i posted the other day, i feel like personal feelings will get in the way of accurately depicting the story. seems like the main beef between cube and heller was that cube was jealous over heller bein closer to eazy. they bout 2 make heller look like the devil tho.

yeah I hope not, cause from what I recall Ren, Yella and Dre to a lesser extent were all cool with Heller at some point. but my guess is that Cube is the main driving force behind the project with Dre tagging along and the other acting as yes men just happy to be part of it, I don't think they had much input as to how the storyline should be developed and other than providing anecdotes and memorabilia. it's a shame though cause in my opinion Cube really did fuck up with NWA (not saying he wasn't right to feel disparaged cause he was obviously getting fucked out of his money but the way he did and how he turned out to be in the industry later on doesn't make him look like the most straightforward and upstanding man) and that Heller, albeit somewhat of a crook by all accounts, wasn't a complete devil either and made shit happen for NWA. It doesn't look they painted a positive picture of him whatsoever in the movie though, lol.

yup I agree with that. Heller was Eazy's right hand man though, not the other way round, wasn't he ? what's hypocritical on Cube's part is that he duplicated what he reproached Heller with later on when he became a ceo himself and chaperoned the lench mob, and treated artists even worse.

haha, exactly what I thought of, it reminded me of the acting in Notorious which was just painful, especially Anthony Mackie portraying 2pac, but as you said I enjoyed it.

FROM WHAT I KNOW, HELLER AND EAZY'S RELATIONSHIP WAS EQUAL...THEY EACH HANDLED DIFFERENT ASPECTS OF THE BUSINESS OPERATIONS ON A 50/50 SCALE. CUBE HAD PEOPLE IN HIS EAR TELLIN HIM HE AINT GETTIN ENOUGH. NO ACTUAL "STEALING" WAS GOIN DOWN.
