I don't be believe I've ever heard anything about this before. It kind of sounds  familiar though.

Below is an interview with Dre and Snoop filmed by MTV in Feb of '93. Now I've seen clips from this interview but not the one @ 02:50 where Dre says he is doing a compilation album called "90221" and that Ice Cube and possibly MC Ren will be on it. This is right after the Chronic came out so I'm guessing this was going to be the next Death Row release after the Chronic album. A compilation album called "90221" which is the Zip Code for Compton.
there were many projects that were supposidley in the works at the DR camp back in the day. of those, probably only 10% of that ever came to fruition, if not less. dre said a lot of things, but he didnt live up to much of it. he has a history of being a slow (but good) worker. im not sure if he ever did a whole lot more than his chronic (and the tracks that didnt make the final chronic tracklist), doggystyle (and its cuts) and maybe thats about it. may have had a few DPG tracks produced, obviously a handful of 2Pac tracks but realistically, thats about it. Helter Skelter with Cube was confirmed to be unfinished by cube himself. i think they only finished 1 song or something like that.
Dr Dre, Cube & DOC finished more than one song for the projects. A lot of thangs were ready. Beats, lyrics and some tracks like "Natural Born Killaz" or "Endonesia". Dr Dre has the records, Erotic D (Death Row affilited) heard the records too. The project wasn't finished but there's interesting material... We gonna heard one day.
Also, don't forget about "Gimmie 50 Feet" and "Can't C Us"

I'm pretty sure both of those songs were completed, maybe not complete in the eyes of Dre, but they at least had a beat with lyrics on them. 50 Feet was mentioned in interviews. Other than those tracks though, I doubt that there was anything more recorded for Heltah Skeltah.
90221 compilation might have evolved into Murder Was The Case?

Actually, minus Natural Born Killaz, the first half of Murder Was the Case had started out as the original LBC Crew compilation, that later evolved into what it is today once Suge got involved.

Would be damn interesting to see a timeline for the MWTC Ost, read so many things about this soundtrack already, plenty of intended tracks for it and the thing about this compilation or the lbc crew compilation that is now mentioned here. (BTW: Is that different than the LBC Crew Album ? )

"Murder Was The Case" was previously intended to feature all the Dogg Pound Gangstaz / LBC family, from Snoop & Tha Dogg Pound to Young Swoop, Lil Style, Tray Dee, Lil Bow Wow... Then, the compilation was used by Death Row for promote other label rosters and included Dr Dre, Jewell, DJ Quik stuff. The LBC Crew compilation was a different project due to be released under Doggy Style label (managed by Snoop & Big C-Style) with Warner Bros first, before Death Row forced Snoop to keep this imprint on Death Row Records. Most of LBC Crew compilation was recorded after "Murder Was The Case", in 1995, while Tha Dogg Pound recorded "Dogg Food". During this period, Big C-Style also managed a lot of artists like Crooked I, LowLifes...
The spot got shook, it was hell below | Is that Futureshock ?? | Hell, no, it's Death Row !

i always read these threads and wonder what Death Row would have been like without Suge (i know technically since he got Dre off of Ruthless there wouldnt have been a Death Row without Suge...).   Clearly there was a musical chemistry and a work ethic there that could have led to many more classic releases.  Every thread talks about what Suge changed, what Suge stopped and who he refused to sign (Warren G) or release (Nate Dogg, Prince Ital Joe etc)...  He clearly was power-tripping and changing things because he could with no logic behind it...

If he's gonna straight copy paste posts he should at least differentiate what are his own words and what are somebody else's words by using quotes. Or just by saying "Found this on another forum:" before his post so ppl don't get confused. I don't really care if he gives credit, although linking the original thread he got it from would be the right thing to do, but that's probably asking too much.

It's what was intended to have been the first LBC Crew album, but they were separate projects worked on at separate times, since they worked on all new material (rather than using scrapped material that didn't make it onto MWTC).
