no actual layout changes on the test site today, apart from how the dubcnn.com thing appears

reviewed the links i posted above, collected all the ideas and information, proritized what HAS to be done versus the rest, being pragmatic and heading right for the goal, will circle back and fill in the gaps after

rough list of tasks

1 - finish final layout fixes including ad banner stuff
2 - do a dry test run of exporting dubcc data to dubcnn with dubcc only closed to copy the database to make sure no snags
    (and get an idea of timings)  dubcc will be closed for a hour or three, nothing more.
2a - testing move forum sections around (proved there's a nicer way to do this in the new forum software)
2b - test script that fixes links in posts from dubcc/forum to the new location
3 - upload this new version of the data over the test forum currently on dubcnn..

if everything goes well.. the final move won't be far behind

there'll be a post for "snagging" where issues are reported when you're using the new forum and a post for "ideas" of things i can look into..

priority is on getting the move done and not spending time investigating other things til its done unless they're standard features
